Takahiro Okubo is a painter/sculptor/mechanic artist from Tokyo, Japan. He explores the relationship between human and object through building interactive/kinetic sculptures and combining them to painting art or other objects. After learning contemporary painting at Bigakko Art School in Tokyo, he worked as a studio assistant to a contemporary painter Nobuhiko, Utsumi in Japan. He received B.A. in Art (Studio Art) at San Francisco State University and is currently an M.F.A. in Art (Sculpture) candidate at The Ohio State University.
