Takahiro Okubo/Shikine Watanabe Collaborative Installation at Gallery K, Tokyo
From the exhibition statement:
This is a collaborative exhibition by Shikine Watanabe (Fujimi, Nagano) and Takahiro Okubo (Columbus, Ohio), exploring the interplay of sound and kinetic works.
Using duct pipes and blowers, Watanabe transforms the entire gallery into a giant pipe organ, turning air currents into sound.
Okubo projects visuals onto a constantly shifting polyhedron, visualizing the transformation of form and space-time through light.
Experience this immersive space where sound and kinetic works resonate in harmony.
